A television show that takes you into a day and life of an Oakland Firefighter.

Oakland FIRE started out as a documentary called CONFIRMING STILLS- In The Town.  We have been working on this project for four years and what a life changing journey it has been!  Here is more on our show below.

Every day, the job of a firefighter varies. Depending on the “calls” that are dispatched, they range from minor issues to deadly encounters. In this show, Journalist Zahrah Farmer (From the Days with Zahrah Show on ABC7) introduces us to the men and women who give their lives to save others. It is an action packed, adrenaline charged experience that takes viewers from the front lines of protecting our citizens, then back to the fire station, where we personally meet our modern day heroes. Behind the station door, Zahrah uncovers the physical, mental, and emotional toll of doing this job. This docuseries highlights the sacrifices these brave men, women, and their families make in order to protect, heal, and save us. Throughout this series, it is clear that their connection to each other is what they lean on to survive. Their dedication to keeping us safe and cared for is felt throughout this life changing tv show. These firefighters are our real life inhalators- they breathe life into our town and keep us alive.
